Construction of the Guangxi Liuzhou-Wuzhou Railway project is set to enter the final sprint. Track-laying operations have now entered the sections in Xiangzhou county, Laibin city and Liujiang district, Liuzhou city. Bridge and culvert, roadbed and tunnel works along the entire line have basically been completed, and more than 70% of track works have been finished.
The Liuzhou-Wuzhou Railway is an important section of the Liuzhou-Guangzhou Railway. After completion, the project will significantly strengthen transport connectivity between Guangxi and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and promote economic and social development in areas along the route.
