On June 15, the first CRE train directly bound for Moscow departed from Shuanghe Freight Station in Shuanghe city, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, marking the official inclusion of Shuanghe as a scheduled CRE departure point and adding a new westward cross-border logistics corridor. In the six months since the Shuanghe special railway line opened, 18 domestic freight trains have been operated with a total cargo value exceeding 50 million yuan. The maiden CRE train direct to Moscow has expanded the western branch network of CRE trains, established a stable freight corridor from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to Russia, and continuously reduced enterprises' cross-border logistics costs.
