At 8:25 a.m. local time on June 22, the K12 normal-speed passenger train, newly configured with attached baggage cars, departed smoothly from Vientiane Railway Station in Laos. This marks the first time baggage cars have been put into routine service on the Laos section of the China-Laos Railway for parcel transport operations, signaling the official end of the "mixed passenger-cargo" model for parcel services on the Laos section and representing a comprehensive upgrade in transport efficiency and service quality.
