Leveraging the core capacity of CRE trains, Central Asia trains and China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan cross-border trains, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization International Logistics Park in Lianyungang recorded container throughput of over 300,000 TEUs in the first five months of the year, up 6.25% year-on-year, with cumulative freight volume reaching 38.284 million tons, up 16.32% year-on-year. Goods transported cover 14 major categories including photovoltaic products, auto parts and mechanical equipment. The park ships domestically manufactured goods westward while simultaneously bringing back minerals and agricultural products from Central Asia and Russia, achieving balanced two-way cargo flow.
